Hyponatraemia complicating vaginal delivery

      and would like to report another cause of hyponatraemia. A 29-year-old primiparous woman presented in spontaneous labour at 41 weeks of gestation. She was previously fit, did not smoke or drink alcohol and had an unremarkable antenatal history with no history of cardiac, respiratory, renal, endocrine or psychiatric disorder. She had been taking multivitamins and folic acid during pregnancy.
